BoP = record of all a country's foreign transactions in a year; it has a current account and a capital account.

Meaning: The balance of payments (BoP) is a systematic record of all economic transactions (of goods, services and capital) between the residents of a country and the rest of the world during a given period, usually one year. It shows all receipts (credits) and payments (debits) with foreign countries.
