Klinefelter's Syndrome (karyotype 47, XXY) is a sex-chromosomal aneuploidy in males caused by non-disjunction, producing feminised, sterile males.

Definition: Klinefelter's Syndrome is a genetic disorder caused by the presence of an extra X chromosome in males, giving a karyotype of 47, XXY instead of the normal 46, XY. It results from non-disjunction of the X chromosomes during gamete formation in either parent, so a gamete with an extra X (XX or XY-bearing egg, or XY-bearing sperm) fuses with a normal gamete to produce an XXY zygote.

Three significant symptoms:
