Turner's Syndrome (45, XO) is a sex-chromosomal monosomy causing sterile females with a distinct set of physical features.

Turner's Syndrome results from the absence (monosomy) of one of the X-chromosomes in a female, i.e., a karyotype of 45, XO (only one X-chromosome instead of the normal two, 44 + XX). It arises due to non-disjunction of the X-chromosomes during gamete formation in one of the parents.
