Cladogram
A cladogram is a branching, tree-like diagram that represents a hypothetical relationship between organisms and their common ancestors — it is a visual comparison of how different groups are related through descent. The three-domains-of-life diagram (Fig 2.1) is itself an example of a cladogram: it shows Archaea, Bacteria and Eukarya branching out from a single common ancestor.
