Computing MPC = ΔC/ΔY (change in consumption ÷ change in income) and APC = C/Y (consumption ÷ income) for each row of the table.

Working: Income rises by a constant ΔY = Rs.100 at each step.

Row 1→2: ΔC = 1040-950 = 90, MPC = 90/100 = 0.9

Row 2→3: ΔC = 1120-1040 = 80, MPC = 80/100 = 0.8

Row 3→4: ΔC = 1190-1120 = 70, MPC = 70/100 = 0.7

Row 4→5: ΔC = 1250-1190 = 60, MPC = 60/100 = 0.6

Row 5→6: ΔC = 1300-1250 = 50, MPC = 50/100 = 0.5

(The first row, Y=1000, has no preceding value, so MPC cannot be computed for it.)

APC = C/Y for each row:

1000: 950/1000 = 0.95

1100: 1040/1100 = 0.945

1200: 1120/1200 = 0.933

1300: 1190/1300 = 0.915

1400: 1250/1400 = 0.893

1500: 1300/1500 = 0.867
