Sustainable development has multiple dimensions — energy, agriculture, resource use — each aimed at preserving resources and the environment for future generations while still meeting present needs.

Sustainable development means development that meets the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Any two dimensions, explained:
