Saturation photocurrent grows linearly with light intensity (straight line through the origin) but is independent of frequency; it is the stopping potential, not the current, that rises linearly with frequency above the threshold.

Variation with intensity: When monochromatic light of a fixed frequency ν (above the threshold ν_0) but varying intensity is incident on the photosensitive surface, more intense light means more photons strike the surface per second, ejecting more photoelectrons per second. Since photocurrent is proportional to the number of electrons emitted per second, the SATURATION photocurrent is directly proportional to the intensity of the incident light:

I_photo ∝ Intensity

Graphically, a plot of saturation photocurrent versus intensity (at constant frequency) is a straight line passing through the origin. Note, however, that the stopping potential needed to reduce this current to zero remains the SAME regardless of intensity — intensity affects only how MANY electrons are ejected, not their maximum kinetic energy.
