A Growth Entrepreneur is one who takes up an industry or venture that has genuine high-growth potential and steers the enterprise to grow steadily in line with that potential. Such an entrepreneur identifies a sector that is expanding and positions the enterprise to benefit from and contribute to that expansion over a reasonable period of time.
A Super-Growth Entrepreneur, by contrast, is one whose enterprise shows an exceptionally high and rapid rate of growth within a very short period — well beyond what is typical even for a high-growth industry. This kind of dramatic, compressed growth often depends on a combination of a genuinely large market opportunity, an unusually effective business model, and favourable timing, and is comparatively rare. …
