Model your career path as a flowchart: the preparation stages are process boxes, every checkpoint (exam, admission, job offer) is a decision diamond, and each "No" branch loops back to renewed effort — persistence is literally a loop.

The idea. A flowchart isn't just for programs — any step-by-step plan with decisions can be drawn as one. A career goal naturally contains checkpoints whose outcome you don't control fully (exam results, job offers); drawing them as decision diamonds with a No-branch looping back captures "try again after improving" precisely.

Model answer (example goal: becoming a software engineer) — this is one worked example; the same structure fits any goal (doctor, designer, entrepreneur…):

  1. Start (oval)
  2. ↓ "Set the goal: become a software engineer" (rectangle)
  3. ↓ "Study PCM with Computer Science in Classes 11-12" (rectangle)
  4. ↓ "Prepare for engineering entrance examinations" (rectangle)
  5. ↓ Decision (diamond): "Cleared the entrance exam with a good rank?"
    • No → "Analyse weak subjects and prepare again" (rectangle) → arrow back to step 4
    • Yes → step 6
  6. ↓ "Take admission and complete B.Tech (Computer Science)" (rectangle)
  7. ↓ "Build programming projects, do internships" (rectangle)
  8. ↓ Decision (diamond): "Received a software engineer job offer?"
    • No → "Strengthen skills, apply to more companies" (rectangle) → arrow back to step 7
    • Yes → step 9
  9. ↓ "Goal attained — join as a software engineer" (rectangle)
  10. ↓ Stop (oval) …
