Who are children with special needs (CWSN)? CWSN are children who, owing to a physical, intellectual, sensory or other long-term condition, need additional, individualised or adapted support to learn, move and participate on an equal basis with their peers. Their abilities vary widely, and with the right support many can take part fully in school and sport.
