Introduction
The World Health Organization defines health as a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing, not merely the absence of disease — as the saying goes, 'health is wealth.' A healthy population is also a more efficient, more productive one: good health increases longevity and lowers both infant and adult mortality. Maintaining it depends on everyday habits, chief among them personal hygiene, regular exercise, and a balanced diet.
