Non-narcotic analgesics relieve mild-to-moderate pain without causing narcotic addiction.

Non-narcotic analgesics are pain-relieving drugs that, unlike narcotic (opioid) analgesics, do not act on the central nervous system through opioid receptors and do not cause sedation, addiction or dependence when used at therapeutic doses.
