GDP is the money value of all final goods and services produced within a country's domestic territory in a year, before depreciation.

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is the total money value of all final goods and services produced within the domestic (economic) territory of a country during an accounting year. 'Gross' means before deducting depreciation (consumption of fixed capital), and 'Domestic' means produced within the country's borders, irrespective of whether the producers are residents or non-residents.
