Each vertex is the sum of the two nearer midpoints minus the opposite one: A(1,2,3),B(3,4,5),C(−1,6,−7)A(1,2,3),B(3,4,5),C(-1,6,-7).

Concept. If D,E,FD,E,F are midpoints of BC,CA,ABBC,CA,AB, then adding two midpoints and subtracting the third recovers a vertex, because E+F−D=A+C2+A+B2−B+C2=AE+F-D=\dfrac{A+C}{2}+\dfrac{A+B}{2}-\dfrac{B+C}{2}=A.

Assign midpoints. D(1,5,−1)D(1,5,-1) of BCBC, E(0,4,−2)E(0,4,-2) of CACA, F(2,3,4)F(2,3,4) of ABAB.

Vertex A=E+F−DA=E+F-D:

A=(0+2−1, 4+3−5, −2+4−(−1))=(1,2,3).A=(0+2-1,\ 4+3-5,\ -2+4-(-1))=(1,2,3).

Vertex B=F+D−EB=F+D-E:

B=(2+1−0, 3+5−4, 4+(−1)−(−2))=(3,4,5).B=(2+1-0,\ 3+5-4,\ 4+(-1)-(-2))=(3,4,5). …
