To build a meaningful wallpaper from three days of Doordarshan telecasts or newspaper reports of Parliament, it helps to structure the observation around the specific functions and instruments the chapter describes, rather than simply noting "what happened."
Issues being discussed. Question Hour is where members raise searching questions and Zero Hour is where any matter considered important can be brought up, even without a guaranteed ministerial response. Based on the chapter's own examples of what typically comes up — price rise, availability of food grains, atrocities against weaker sections, riots, black-marketing, financial irregularities, or a proposed bill under committee discussion — note down each specific issue raised each day, along with which minister or department it was directed at.
The Speaker's role. Track how the presiding officer manages proceedings: whether order is maintained, how disruptions or walkouts are handled, and whether the Speaker rules on any question of parliamentary privilege or member conduct (including anything connected to the anti-defection law, if relevant). This shows the "how does Parliament regulate itself" function in action, not just on paper.
Party and regional representation. Note which political parties the members raising issues belong to (ruling party, principal opposition, smaller regional parties, or coalition partners), and which State or region each speaking member represents. This brings out Parliament's representative function — how far the debate over three days actually reflects India's regional and political diversity. …
