Only option (A) — National Waterways No. 1, Allahabad–Haldia — is correctly matched.

India’s network of National Waterways (NWs) was developed to shift a portion of the country’s freight traffic from congested roads and railways to rivers and canals, which are far more fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly. The Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) identifies and maintains these stretches. Among the earliest and most important is the Ganga–Bhagirathi–Hooghly river system, designated as National Waterways No. 1. It runs from Allahabad (now Prayagraj) in Uttar Pradesh, down through Bihar and West Bengal, to Haldia near the Bay of Bengal. That stretch — Allahabad to Haldia — is indeed the correct match.
