Cyanides and Isocyanides

Cyanides and isocyanides are the two families of alkyl derivatives of hydrocyanic acid (HCN), which itself exists in two tautomeric forms: hydrogen cyanide (H-C#N) and hydrogen isocyanide (H-N#C, with the divalent-carbon lone pair convention).
