The opportunity cost of any choice is the value of the NEXT BEST alternative forgone. Here, the student's next best alternative to attending the 3-hour class is working the part-time job for those same 3 hours.

At a wage of ₹200 per hour, the income she forgoes by attending the class instead of working is:

3 hr×₹200/hr=₹6003\text{ hr}\times ₹200/\text{hr} = ₹600

So the opportunity cost of attending the class is ₹600.

If the job instead paid ₹250 per hour, the forgone income — and hence the opportunity cost of attending the SAME class — would be:
