Rythu Bima (Farmers' Group Life Insurance):
- Nature: A group life-insurance scheme for farmers in the eligible age band.
- Basis: The government pays the premium; on the death of an enrolled farmer, a lump-sum benefit (of the order of ₹5 lakh) is paid to the nominee.
