Curved mirrors obey the same two laws of reflection as plane mirrors, applied at the local normal (the radius) at each point of the curved surface.

Even though a curved (spherical) mirror has a continuously varying surface, reflection at every point on it still obeys the ordinary laws of reflection, applied locally using the normal to the mirror surface at that point (which, for a spherical mirror, is the radius through that point - the line joining the point to the centre of curvature C):
