Two electromagnetic waves — X-rays and radio waves — travel at the same speed c in vacuum (similarity) but differ hugely in frequency, wavelength and how they are produced (dissimilarity).

The electromagnetic spectrum contains many types of waves — γ-rays, X-rays, ultraviolet, visible light, infrared, microwaves and radio waves — all of which are transverse electromagnetic waves consisting of oscillating electric and magnetic fields perpendicular to each other and to the direction of propagation.

Similarity: All electromagnetic waves, including X-rays and radio waves, travel through vacuum with the same speed, the speed of light c=3×108 m/sc = 3\times10^{8}\ \text{m/s}, and need no material medium to propagate.
