The four Ps — Product, Price, Place and Promotion — are the key elements of the marketing mix. Product is what is offered (quality, features, branding, packaging, service); Price is what customers pay (pricing methods, discounts, credit); Place is how the product reaches them (channels and physical distribution); Promotion is how they are informed and persuaded (advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, publicity).

  • Price: Price is the amount of money customers pay to obtain the product. Key elements include pricing objectives, the methods/strategies of price determination, discounts and rebates offered, and credit terms.
