Draw a node for each event and an arrow from every immediate predecessor into it: 1→2, 1→3, 2→4, 3→4, 3→5, 4→6, 5→6, 5→7, 6→71 o2,\,1 o3,\,2 o4,\,3 o4,\,3 o5,\,4 o6,\,5 o6,\,5 o7,\,6 o7.

This is an event-oriented network construction from the Operations Research (Network Analysis) unit of the Tamil Nadu HSC Class-11 Business Mathematics syllabus.

Step 1 — Read the predecessor table. Each event's "immediate predecessors" tell you which events must complete before it, so an activity arrow points from each predecessor into that event:

• Event 1: no predecessor — start node.
• Event 2: predecessor 1 → arrow 1→21 o2.
• Event 3: predecessor 1 → arrow 1→31 o3.
• Event 4: predecessors 2, 3 → arrows 2→42 o4 and 3→43 o4.
• Event 5: predecessor 3 → arrow 3→53 o5.
• Event 6: predecessors 4, 5 → arrows 4→64 o6 and 5→65 o6.
• Event 7: predecessors 5, 6 → arrows 5→75 o7 and 6→76 o7. …
