Three of the enzymes catalysing steps of the EMP (glycolytic) pathway are hexokinase, phosphofructokinase, and pyruvate kinase.

The EMP (Embden-Meyerhof-Parnas) pathway, i.e., glycolysis, is a ten-step enzymatic sequence converting glucose to pyruvate. Three representative enzymes, each catalysing a key regulatory or committed step, are:
