For a mixture of gases that don't react chemically, the total pressure is just the sum of each gas's own (partial) pressure.

When two or more gases that do not chemically react with one another are enclosed together in a vessel, each gas exerts a pressure as if it alone occupied the entire volume at the given temperature — this is called its partial pressure.

Dalton's law of partial pressures states that the total pressure exerted by the gas mixture is the sum of the partial pressures of all the constituent gases:
