Aniline is the parent AROMATIC primary amine. 4-Nitroaniline is aniline further substituted with a strongly electron-withdrawing -NO2 group at the para position.
Step 2. Compare aliphatic versus aromatic basicity (sections 13.5.1 vs 13.5.2). Aliphatic amines are markedly stronger bases (much lower pKb, e.g. Table 13.4's aliphatic primary amines around pKb 3.3-3.4) than arylamines (aniline itself pKb 9.38), because an arylamine's nitrogen lone pair is conjugated into the ring and less available for protonation. So cyclohexylamine has by far the lowest (smallest) pKb of the three, i.e. the strongest base. …
