Decision variables xx (tables), yy (chairs); objective Z=50x+15yZ = 50x + 15y; constraints from ₹10,000 investment, ≤60 pieces of storage, and non-negativity.

Step 1 — Decision variables. Let xx = number of tables bought and yy = number of chairs bought.

Step 2 — Objective function (maximize profit). Profit is ₹50 per table and ₹15 per chair:

Maximize Z=50x+15y.\text{Maximize } Z = 50x + 15y.

Step 3 — Investment constraint. Cost ₹500 per table, ₹200 per chair, capital ₹10,000:

500x+200y≤10000.500x + 200y \le 10000.

Step 4 — Storage (space) constraint. At most 60 pieces: …
