Resistivity rises with T for a conductor (Fig. A) and falls with T for a semiconductor (Fig. B).

Figure (A) (resistivity increasing with temperature) represents a conductor (metal). Figure (B) (resistivity decreasing with temperature) represents a semiconductor, because increasing temperature releases more charge carriers across the small band gap, lowering resistivity.
