Q.Assuming that the temperature at the surface of the Sun is 6000 K, find out the size of a virtual star (in terms of the size of Sun) whose surface temperature is 3000 K and the power radiated by the virtual star is 25 times the power radiated by the Sun. Treat both, the Sun and virtual star as a blackbody.

P_star/P_Sun = (r_star²T_star⁴)/(r_Sun²T_Sun⁴) = 25 with T halved gives r²_star/r²_Sun = 25×2⁴ = 400, so r_star = 20 r_Sun.

Given T_Sun = 6000 K, T_star = 3000 K and P_star = 25 P_Sun.
