Part (b): Training benefits employees through better skills/performance, career growth and higher pay, and greater confidence with fewer accidents.

Part (a)

Training is the process of increasing the knowledge, skills and abilities of employees for doing a particular job, and its methods fall into on-the-job and off-the-job categories. Vestibule training belongs to the off-the-job group.

This makes it especially valuable where the actual equipment is complex, costly or dangerous, or where many workers must be trained identically (for example, on new machinery, or as pilots learn on simulators).
