Janhit Yachika, or Public Interest Litigation, allows any concerned person to approach the court on behalf of the public or a group of consumers whose rights are being violated.

Meaning: 'Janhit Yachika' literally means a petition filed in the public interest. It is a form of Public Interest Litigation (PIL).
