The nucellus is the parenchymatous tissue that fills the body of the ovule; the embryo sac (female gametophyte) develops embedded within that nucellus; and the micropyle is the small apical opening of the same ovule, through which the pollen tube usually enters. All three are therefore structures belonging to the female reproductive apparatus, the ovule.
